PURPOSE:
This instrument is used to create stable, reliable environment for
incubation of ELISA plates.
LOCATION –
Dengue lab
OPERATION-
·
Switch
on the incubators and allow it to warm up to the required temperature.
·
Start
using the incubator after the temperature has reached 370C.
·
Keep the
plate inside after the temperature has reached 370C.
MAINTENANCE:
·
Temperature
is recorded daily and temperature chart is maintained.
·
Clean
incubator once in a week.
·
Clean
the interior of the incubator using sterile cotton or gauze soaked in 70%
Alcohol.
·
Allow
the interior to dry completely.
RESPONSIBILITY – Laboratory

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS-
·
Any operating
problem should be recorded and to be brought in notice of the Section officer
concerned.
·
Service
person should be informed regarding the problem as soon as possible to solve
the problem.
