for in-House Training of new Joinee in the laboratory.
First fifteen days:
Posting as observer in stool sample receiving and processing. Skills taught:

o Processing
of stool sample
o Method
of primary inoculation
o Handling
of refrigerated centrifuge and shaker

disposal.
Next fifteen days: Posting
as observer in cell-line. Skills taught:
o Observation
of normal RD and L20B Cell-Lines - Flask
o Observation
of normal RD and L20B Cell-Lines – Tubes
Next one month: Posting as
observer in primary isolation. Skills taught:

of tubes and making worksheets

of inoculated tubes
o CPE
observation
o Freezing
and thawing of tubes

Next one
month: Posting in primary isolation under guidance of senior technician.

After three months:
Induction process is over. Independent posting in stool sample receiving and
processing given for a period of six months. Later on posting is given on a
rotation basis for duration of six months each in every section of
laboratory.
